Dynasty NHL: Archive / Re: Waivers« on: September 09, 2011, 08:24:30 AM »
Why does making it almost impossible to dump bad contracts benefit the league.
Who would pick up Gomez for 3.7M or Huet or Leighton. Remove the need for someone else to pick up dropped players, create a sliding scale on cap hit for amount of contract being dumped. 10M dump 4 M hit 8M dump 3 M hit 6M dump 2 M hit <6M - 1.5M - 25% hit No requirement for anyone to pick up anyone - waivers could have their own scale too. 573

48 - If eight votes aren't in, but a decision can be made to accept or reject trade, then the trade will be approved/rejected after 48 hours.

We are having a professional TC endorsed by ProFSL used by multiple leagues. Participating leagues would move trades to a special board. Pro TC members who have a knowledge of the rules of participating leagues as well as their scoring systems would vote on the trade and provide reasons why they approve or veto. Trades do not necessarily have to have equal value as everyone values players differently. The TC is paid in the form of ProFSL points for that sport's Invitational. Once a decision is made, the trade thread is moved back to the transactions board of the league. Players involved in the pending trade may not be moved while trade is in the voting stage. The TC board could be ten people deep with perhaps only four approvals needed so that a trade doesn't need to wait for every TC member to vote. This speeds up the process for all leagues and adds a governing body outside the league.
12 - People on each TC staff. 8 - People need to vote on a trade. 5 - Approvals are needed to pass a trade. 4 - Vetoes are required to reject a trade. 48 - If eight votes aren't in, but a decision can be made to accept or reject trade, then the trade will be approved/rejected after 48 hours Trade Commitee Drew (HOF, Mod, TC leader) Approved Colby (HOF, Admin) Approved E.J.
