Desmond is a steep price to pay, as I think he will be a monster in Colorado, but my OF and potentially CI if he plays first have more depth than my middle infield. So even taking on a little salary the deal is worth it.

Braves receive Alex Colome 521k 4th arb Yankees receive Jordan Montgomery SP  Mike Soroka SP  To be approved by Atlanta The Yankees make this trade to acquire 2 more pitchers with big upside. Colome had a great year and should continue that on a great contract. But getting 2 top pitching prospects was huge for my rebuild.

Beltran put up very good numbers last year and should continue to do so this year in Houston, but he does not do a whole lot for my rebuilding team. I love the upside on Molina and will look for a lottery ticket or two in the picks acquired. Thanks for the easy talks!

Yankees make this deal with the emergence of Gary Sanchez and hopefully the health of Devin Mesoraco, Cervelli didn't fit into the plans for the Yankees. Getting the draft picks will continue to help my rebuild. Thanks for the easy talks!

receives: Brandon Drury .5(P-n/a) St. Louis receives: Ian Desmond 2.5(2017) To be approved by and the TC St. Louis makes this deal to sure up the OF situation prior to free agency. Drury had a solid year last year and has definitely shown he can hit, but may not be in the lineup everyday, so even for only a year I see Desmond as an upgrade, especially given the make up of my roster.
