I did this to get back into the top 10 in draft as Kari is a great goalie but can maybe upgrade on a few players in FA with a top 10 pick.It was nice picking up Peverly too in the deal.
I like this deal as i get a couple of young players that i like in Fowler,who has a lot of upside and one of the top 15 scorers in nhl in Ryan.This does give me some great scorers on my team.Giving up the picks i had to do to get Ryan but may have only got a decent player at the most at pick 7.There was a few but not as good as Fowler and Ryan.Just my thinking.
