Stars Get:

Bobby Ryan
Cam Fowler
Jason Blake
6th Round Pick 2011

This trade keeps with my theme of getting Top 10 icks in this yrs contraction draft. I also get 2 guys I really like in Benn and Eriksson. It was going to take a lot to get Ryan and this deal did it. Fowler is a greaat add in as well for Dallas as he will be a star in this league, Blake was to round it  off and shed some cap  for the players I will get in the draft and the 6th rounder just capped it off.

I like this deal as i get a couple of young players that i like in Fowler,who has a lot of upside and one of the top 15 scorers in nhl in Ryan.This does give me some great scorers on my team.Giving up the picks i had to do to get Ryan but may have only got a decent player at the most at pick 7.There was a few but not as good as Fowler and Ryan.Just my thinking.
