We could add a bantam and a peewee team too! That way we'd never have to drop anyone from our ECHL team ever.
I kind of want to know what direction we are going here? Are we increasing minor league space or lowering it to 15?I have people offering me picks in trade but there is no point if we are going to 15 as I will have to dump players.
It won't be decreasing. Here is what I am thinking:- increase to 30 minor leaguers- split into two teams (players with contracts and players without contracts) but no limit on either team so you could have 30 N/C players or 30 players on contract- salary cap will follow the guide and lower to $15.0m for the 2013-14 season
Why split into two teams? Is there an advantage? Why not just have one minor league team with 30 max players and a $15m payroll? (My dilemma here is that if I have to name a feeder team for the Wheeling Nailers I just can't get away from calling it the uh.....Baby Nailers.)
Purpose is to increase spots and to separate the N/C contracts out so we can have a better look at the players in the minors that are on contract.
