Bruins do this deal to add a little more experience on the backend. Johnsons 27 replaces Seth Jones who just came out of puberty and still cant touch a drink, but the kid has talent. With Jonesy its all bout bloodlines and pedigree. I needed LW scoring and had enough RW to deal up but was forced to cough up Tarasenko to make it happen. We add 1.6 in cap but thats manageable. Beantown needs to keep up with the Jones.

Los Angeles management confirms. Seth Jones was made available to us and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to acquire a future franchise defenseman on a team coached by Laviolette. He will look great beside Drew Doughty. We also like the depth on the blueline we are building with the addition of two excellent prospects. Musil was a must have for his all-around skills and Lalonde is projected to be an offensive minded defenseman in several years. Tarasenko fills a big wishlist need on Right Wing for us.
