After several long hard days of negotiating, Tampa gets Faulk back on the Blue Line & an aging but still effective Vrbata at the cost of my 1st rd pick, young Power Forward Maroon & Landy.

We feel we can resign & retain Faulk who is a premier scorer on D & this makes us a little better this year for a strong run.

I propose in regards to buy outs that...

You may not bid on a player that you have released or bought out for a period of 30 days. If you resign a player that you bought out earlier in the same league year their original contract is restored.


This would close the loop hole without effecting the current spirit of the buy out clause imo.
I hope the league can take a vote on the matter at least.
