NYI and LA make a deal

NYI trade - David Backes - RW

LA trade - Colin Greening - C

For me this is all about cap room and re-building the team for the future.  In return LA is getting one of the best RW in the business which was very short in this years FA. 

LA to confirm.

pending cho34 / :LA: confirmation of course but i'll move this along and say slight edge to :NYI: for moving a large salary...  mind you Backes is a great player that produces in many categories. overall a good trade for both teams.

i dont know whats up with Cho.  last night he respond with the below.  Which I took as a counter offer and accepted. I emailed him back saying sounds good, i will post it. 
Tonight he emailed me ,  the below message, so i dont know what the deal is. Cancel it I guess.
