Hi Kenny,

I need your input on Angel Villalona.  He originally signed with SF in 2006 for $2.1 million.  In 2009 he was arrested for a shooting, subsequently spent 3 months in jail, and was released.  After his arrest, SF placed Villalona on the restricted list in order to retain his rights without having to give him a roster spot.  Therefore, he was always under SF control.  While he may not amount to much, I'd like to keep him, as he's still quite young (21), and he's now on the San Jose Giants roster.

I put in a bid as I thought he must be a free agent, but after some extensive digging, I'm thinking he's been SF property all along, and therefore should be part of my team.

If you deem he is still SF property, would you please remove the FA bid, and put him on my roster at San Jose?

Dick, I believe you're correct. He will be added at no cost to San Jose.
