Miami accepts this trade to make a playoff run.  Give up some of the future but believe this deal will push the Marlins over the top to make the playoffs.  If you make the playoffs, you have a chance to win it all.  :win:

Thanks for the deal.  Both knew what we wanted and was able to get a deal done super quick.

This trade is horrendous.  Mets getting very little value in return for several major league starters.

I aw the trade and I'm having difficulty in seeing a fair trade value in this for both teams on one side they are getting two very very good starting pitchers o the other side you are getting a young in dean green. In my opinion doi fel the trade is unfornitly I don't see do I really that there is colusion no I don't but do I feel  that Miami got enough back no I don't.  The best pick out of all the picks is a 3rd rd.I feel they should have at least 1st and 2n along with other picks. I'm sorry but I have to  :veto: this trade I just don't feel Miami got enough back.

The third veto does not count, you have to post a reason.  According to the rules

"Any veto must provide a detailed, factually based basis for that veto.  Reasons for a veto would include but are not limited to factors such as statistical comparison, contract status, age, injury history, talent level, organizational makeup, past trade history, and/or collusion."

Therefore that veto doesn't count.  If we are not following the rules all hell breaks loose.

Did anyone read the other two vetoes??????  They contradict one another.  One says the mets did not get enough, the other says miami.  What does that mean????
This means both are getting screwed and both are taking advantage of the other.  Makes sense, which equals a

Fair Trade

Both managers have obviously proven themselves in the league.

I approve the trade

  • ldsjayhawk: @jwalker I make like 2-3 trades a year for each of my baseball teams, maybe.  I'll tell you part of the reason I don't trade.  Every trade discussion starts out with the other team wanting my top prospect regardless of what I am trading for.  I am not trading Jackson Holliday for your backup catcher who is going to play 20 games this year.

  • ldsjayhawk: Trading should be a win-win situation for both teams.
  • dbreer23: Agreed. I think the Devers deal in FGM is a good example of that. Devers gives SD some now (and future) pop, giving up substantial pieces to get him (Mayo, Keith, and one other).

  • Jwalkerjr88: Carolina has kyren williams right now cause i traded him for a 2nd and a 4th. Id rather have kyren today lol
    Today at 01:54:28 PM
  • Brent: Agreed.  I have Amon Ra St. Brown and Aiyuk because I traded JJ.  I couldn't have acquired a player like ASB where I was picking in the 1st so I down tiered at WR to make a trio of Chase, ASB and Aiyuk instead of JJ, Chase and fill in the blank.
  • ldsjayhawk: That is probably even more true in baseball since your drafts don't payoff for 5 years or so.  And I will admit my conservatism may be the reason I only have one championship here at ProFSL
