CB Mike Hughes $7m (2026)

Philadelphia sends:

6th round (2024)

trade a 6th round pick for a QB and a 4th round pick. I still have just short of $30m in cap space going into free agency and get a starting quarterback on a one year contract as a team without a starting quarterback is basically tanking. This deal makes good short term/long term sense to me.

MIA agrees. PHI needed a qb1 and they get that here. Its a low commitment and low risk move for tannehill. I also move hughes who I have better options for on my roster but can be a depth piece to plug in. I wanted to move those two to save on cap. I attached a 4th round pick as it helped even the value. I get a 6th round back as I plan on being close to roster max so that can be used as a practice squad stash.
