I pulled this out of the League Rules for Contracts.

This window for prospect extensions is open until one week prior to the beginning of offseason free agency.

Roy/Everyone,

I discussed with Colby this afternoon and wanted to make sure to clarify this schedule.  I don't currently have the ability to edit the deadlines, I tried, we will update as soon as possible.  Please note that this post is the correct deadline.

Thanks

Can we assume that trading will not be allowed until after October 15th, since any trades of non-prospects prior to that would negate the newly approved Prince Fielder rule?  Btw, the Prince Fielder rule as approved by the TC said that players with expiring contracts were free agents as soon as the regular season was over which would mean at the conclusion of tomorrow's games.  I don't have a problem with adjusting the deadlines as long as no trades are allowed until then, otherwise we would be circumventing the Fielder rule.

You are correct, no trades til after the 15th.  We adjusted deadline because it was mot truly posted anywhere and wanted to give 72 hours.

I will correct deadlines tomorrow.

For potential free agents, can someone please confirm that the team with rights to the player automatically gets draft pick compensations as soon as the player is release?

As long as the player is released by the Commissioner because the contract expired. :judge:

I remembered there was an old rule where a team must place a bid on the player before becoming eligible to receive draft pick compensation. I am guessing this rule was eliminated as part of the RFA removal?

  • Daddy: My comment on the real Wolves are if they win a chip then there is no such things as bad contracts. The point of all contracts are to win Championships.

  • Daddy: The expansion draft is LIVE alternating picks until both teams have 15 players like the NBA All Star teams get picked.

  • Daddy: Where you dont wait for trades to happen on scoring sites or SS updates and the only thing asked of you is to run your own franchise and see how good you are. On an EVEN playing field.
  • Daddy: Its already near impossible to get into NFL LIVE. We had to start up a 64 team league just to accommodate the waiting list. True Story.
  • Daddy: Once full. NBA, NHL, & NCAAs will be very difficult to get into. People dont just walk away from LIVE often and when they do... They usually want back in. Legit dont miss your team in your sports. Get them while you can.
