After some thought this is my suggestion.- all players on a two-way get a year extended on their current contract.- all GM's get to extend another year on up to 7 players. - rest of the the players lose a year off their contract and if they were in the last year they can be signed to an extension as usual or they will be free agents. I feel this let's GM's have more control on their teams.
We could apply a 15% roll-back on all existing contracts. What about a 10% roll-back coupled with a buy-out? Just throwing it out there.
For this season the cap for our league has already been set so it will remain at $70.2m, if cap goes down next season we will make the necessary adjustments then.If there is no season I think we will go with a keeper style where a certain number of players get a year added to their contracts.
