The finalists are two teams without a true number one netminder. Interesting.

Not to take anything away from :TOR-NHL: but I'm impressed with how :PHO: survived each of his match-ups starting with :MIN-NHL:, then President's Cup winner :DAL-NHL:  then knocking off :LA: each of those teams had good if not great starting goalies too.


As for :TOR-NHL: I think his biggest test was last round in the Conference Finals when they beat out :PHI-NHL: to reach the Stanley Cup Finals!

I'm going to state the obvious ... the Finals are now extended to April 28th as the make-up game betw the NHL's Sens + Bruins will be played then.
