This trade effectively helps all three teams. The Marlins get a dependable pitcher to help out in the bullpen, the Yankees get under the cap and can start competing in the American League, and the Pirates get some much needed help in the infield.  It was fantastic working with the Pirates and Yankees to accomplish Armchairs first 3 team trade. Thanks guys for the hardwork put into this and helping out one another so we can all make our teams stronger and more competitive. :winner:

Pirates confirm.

The Pirates management had been looking for weeks to put a team on the field that the Pittsburgh fans aren't embarrassed with. While over the hill and verrrrry much overpaid, the addition of Derek Jeter is still a much needed improvement over the current SS and MI. Wait, what SS and MI? They're both in the minors and not accumulating any points.

While Alen Hanson has the potential to become a great player, it is still not a sure thing. The Pirates front office is hoping this doesn't come back to bite them down the road.

$4M is chump change for the mighty Pirates! (But needed desperately by the Yankees)

Finally after lots of talks with owners and no solution. We are under the Cap and now we can compete to win  :taco: :bacon: :taco: :bacon: We gave up Jeter and Logan but Theroit can help us temporary and also got some great prospects in return.

:PIT: gets a top flight shortstop that can help them make a push these next 2 years.

:MIA-MLB: gets a good reliever that will get playing time on their squad and a nice looking spec while only giving up a couple bench players and a lower spec.  This will add to a team that is already #1 in the NL.
