Round 5 -- DIVISION CHAMPIONS REWARDDivision Champion Draft Picks guidelines - any player that qualifies for MiLR status (82 regular season games played or less, and from current or past draft years)A. :ANA: (from :NAS: 148pts (Central Division Champion)) - OTCB. :COL-NHL: (from :NYI: 134pts (Metropolitan Division Champion))C. :MON-NHL: 132pts (Atlantic Division Champion)D. :EDM: 124pts (Pacific Division Champion)
A. :TBL: (from :ANA:; via :NAS: 148pts (Central Division Champion)) - Aaron Dell.
Will Tampa be able to sign Dell when he hits 82 games? The buyout amendment says "Starting Monday November 9, 2015, a team that buys out a player cannot bid on the FA nor resign the same player in the same year of the buyout."So it wouldn't be bidding in FA, but it would be resigning someone Tampa already owned. I think that is against the rules as they are stated.
B. :COL-NHL: (from :NYI: 134pts (Metropolitan Division Champion)) - OTC
Ian most likely bit confused due to this going into a grey area of defintion of what status a player is when bought out, ain't he automatically classed as a free agent as he has no contract. Also was Dell ever a MILR prospect, as if he was, what about the MILR rule that stats:Once a player is removed from the MiLR they are ineligible to return to the MiLR.
