Correct... it is a way to cheat the system.  Honestly, the addition of defense into our scoring system hasn't worked as well as expected.  The defensive stats are the reason position players cannot change positions (non-Utility) throughout the week.

What are the minimum games played to qualify at a position, Colb?  This might be an easy fix, by just upping the minimum games played to qualify.

From a hitting perspective, I think it's easy enough to simply up the minimum games played, to a number that basically makes it so that a player's primary position is the only position he really qualifies for.  The prior season's game limit could be upped to 54 (1/3 of a player's games, if he was to play 162 games), and a current season's could be the same, or very close to within that number.  40 perhaps.

I'm not sure if the pitching really needs anything done to it.  However, teams that have starters who qualify for RP definitely have an advantage, so maybe that minimum requirement should be upped also.
