Mets do this deal for a few reasons. We do like how Dice and Span are very serviceable and on cheap contracts. Hence why Colorado wants them. Span is very consistent and tough to give up. However, we feel that teaming up Young, with Beltran and Harper really gives us an explosive offense in 2013.

I accept this trade to get a little younger and get a little more cap for next year. Im hoping this might change the luck on my team with the injury department and mybe I can when some games this year. Well thank you corey for the trade and easy negotiations.
