Rays and Nats hook up for a doozy

With the recent addition of Victor Martinez and Ryan Lavarnway looming in the shadows, we felt the time was right to move Posey to a team with a shot for 2012.  The re-additon of Jennings turns Tampa's OF from what was a weakness coming into the season a strength.  The 2013 OF now looks to be  Desmond Jennings/Matt Joyce/Jose Tabata with Starling Marte waiting in the wings.  The addition of two fine arms in Cole and Kelly are exactly what we were hoping to accomplish by moving Posey an that was address the rotation and OF.  The 2013 rotation on paper looks to be Matt Moore/Jarrod Parker/Jacob Turner/Casey Kelly/Garrit Cole.  Tampa Bay GM Michael Bailey also hinted that the team may not be done as they were looking to add a little bit of versatility to their roster.

Nats confirm. The player I like best out of this is De la Rosa, believe it or not. Really think he will shine once back in the bigs.

I don't think Cole will be in the majors next year, but that is a good move for building.  Posey goes to the Nats to help them in a surprising NL East run this year.
