Thanks Chad.  I like the underdog role.

The Cards are not underdogs!

22) :CHC: - (1-4) [D/C/D] - I wonder if Mike has finally made his mind up on the direction of his franchise now that A-Rod is in? (7)

Oh I know what I am doing now.  Cubs are charging up the rear.  Haha!

I am surprised my team is still #1 considering how much of a hit the offense took.  Although the lineup is still very threatening...

MI Cano, Robinson, $7.5m (2013)
MI Reyes, Jose, $6m (2011)
CI Teixeira, Mark, $22.5m (2016)
CI Lee, Derrek, $13m (2010)
OF Wells, Vernon, $18m (2014)
OF Hunter, Torii, $8m (2011)
MI Aviles, Mike, $2.5m (2012)
OF Fukudome, Kosuke, $12m (2011)
C Posada, Jorge, $13m (2011)

Grades: [Batting, Pitching, Fielding]

Week 6 Power Rankings
1) :NYY: - (5-0) [A/A/A] - A-Roid is out.  Buerhle comes in to "help" #1 pitching staff.
2) :MIL: - (5-0) [A/A-/A] - Still perfect but the Reds are right there with the Brewers. (1)
3) :OAK: - (4-1) [A/A/B](1)
4) :PHI: - (2-3) [A/A-/A-] - Adam Jones is in. (-2)
5) :STL: - (4-1) [A-/B/B] - Cards have scored the 2nd most points this season behind the Yankees. (2)
6) :CIN: - (5-0) [A/C+/B+] - Garza is pitching beautifully thus far. (3)
7) :LAA: - (3-2) [A/C/B-](1)
8) :CLE: - (3-2) [A/C/A-] - Indians appear evenly matched with Tigers this season. (-2)
9) :BOS: - (3-2) [A-/B/B-] - Real-life Red Sox are keeping this team down. (-4)
10) :LAD: - (3-2) [A-/B/D] -
11) :TB: - (2-3) [B/B-/B] - Rays are still with the other AL wildcards a month into the season.
12) :TOR: - (3-2) [B/C+/B](3)
13) :COL: - (2-3) [B/C+/B-] - Rockies have produced at an average level and that's where they are in the rankings. (-1)
14) :TEX: - (4-1) [B/C/C+] - This team has been very lucky as they are in the bottom 10 of points scored.
15) :DET: - (3-2) [C+/B-/D] - Tigers are keeping with the Indians' pace. (4)
16) :MIN: - (2-3) [C/C/B] - Mauer is back.
17) :SF: - (3-2) [B-/C/C] -
18) :ATL: - (3-2) [C/C/C] - Very young team but they can produce at the MLB level. (2)
19) :CHW: - (3-2) [B-/D/D](2)
20) :SEA: - (2-3) [D/C+/C+] - A big win to keep this team from being in the dog house. (-2)
21) :PIT: - (1-4) [C/D/B-] - Gio helps but this team is falling fast as the sell-off of depth has heated up. (-8)
22) :CHC: - (1-4) [D/C/D] - I wonder if Mike has finally made his mind up on the direction of his franchise now that A-Rod is in? (7)
23) :NYM: - (1-4) [F/B-/D] -
24) :ARZ: - (1-4) [F/B/D] - Zambrano is a headache. (-2)
25) :HOU: - (2-3) [F/C/D] - Astros are playing beyond their gord this year. (3)
26) :KC: - (1-4) [D/D/D](-2)
27) :BAL: - (1-4) [D/D/C] - Freese, Snider, Colvin… the future is here. (-1)
28) :FL: - (0-5) [F/C/C](-3)
29) :WAS: - (2-3) [F/D/C] - Only the Orioles and Marlins have scored less than Jake's Nationals. (-2)
30) :SD: - (0-5) [F/D/C+] -
Tigers are keeping pace with the Indians but who's keeping pace with the White Sox?

Grades: [Batting, Pitching, Fielding]

Week 7 Power Rankings
1) :NYY: - (6-0) [A/A/A] - This team is poised to stay here all year long.
2) :MIL: - (6-0) [A/A/A] - Brewers finally get some breathing room from Cards/Reds threat.
3) :PHI: - (3-3) [A/A/B+] - Werth's return boosts offense once again. (1)
4) :OAK: - (4-2) [A/A/B](-1)
5) :STL: - (5-1) [A/B/B] - Correction, Cardinals are still scoring a whole lot this year… and now they have Span in that lineup.
6) :CIN: - (5-1) [A/C/B+] - I am not doubting what Dan has compiled with the Reds, but he has had a little bit of luck early this season.
7) :CLE: - (3-3) [A-/C+/A-] - Indians are putting it all together but this may be the highest I rank them. (1)
8) :LAD: - (4-2) [A/B/D] - Castro's call-up may help this team a bit. (2)
9) :BOS: - (4-2) [B+/B/B-] -
10) :LAA: - (4-2) [A/C/B-] - Ibanez is a downgrade from Werth. (-3)
11) :TOR: - (4-2) [B/C+/B] - Can the Blue Jays contend for the AL Wildcard? (1)
12) :DET: - (3-3) [B-/B/D] - Losing Hanley and Wieters hurts but there is a lot in return that can help the Tigers catch the Indians. (3)
13) :TEX: - (4-2) [B/C/C+] - Three-team race in the AL West is tight already. (1)
14) :COL: - (3-3) [B/C/B-] - Haren's bid contract is a thing of the past. (-1)
15) :TB: - (2-4) [B-/C/C+] - This team took a step back this year to gain cornerstone talent. (-4)
16) :CHW: - (4-2) [B/C/C] - Rick's AL Central leading White Sox deserve a 2nd look. (3)
17) :SF: - (3-3) [B-/C/C] - Giants on a slide but outlook for the year is probably around 0.500
18) :MIN: - (2-4) [C/C+/B] - Pitchers help but offense has woes (-2)
19) :CHC: - (2-4) [C/C/C] - Cubs finally have a full lineup with some potential, an average farm, and they have no long-term headaches outside of A-Rod. (3)
20) :ATL: - (4-2) [C/C/C] - Braves are lowest ranked winning team but this is because they shipped so many players out of town recently… future looks bright. (-2)
21) :SEA: - (2-4) [D/C+/C+] - M's should build for next year at this point. (-1)
22) :NYM: - (2-4) [F/B-/D](1)
23) :PIT: - (1-5) [D/D/C+] - Cole Gillespie steps into the new OF.  Snider and Freese find new home. (-2)
24) :BAL: - (1-5) [D/D/C] - Acquiring Jackson and Hill enables this team to compete (somewhat) (3)
25) :HOU: - (3-3) [F/C/D] - Another win for the Stros? J-Rol comes back this week.
26) :KC: - (1-5) [D/D/D] -
27) :WAS: - (2-4) [F/C/C] - Pitching is sneaky good this year with Livan. (2)
28) :ARZ: - (1-5) [F/B/D] - Diamondbacks GM position has opened up.. (-4)
29) :FL: - (1-5) [F/D/C](-1)
30) :SD: - (0-6) [F/D/C+] - Padres have a new GM in town with a tough task on hand.

Cubs are climbing the rankings, beating the Dodgers and making it to a 3-4 record would be a true testament of my new lineup.

We lead the league in scoring (even with my reduced lineup) for the week and still the Braves drop? Not to mention Brett Anderson isn't playing for me AND I'm left w/o a Util due to the fact Milton has gone loco for the minute.

You can do better than that Colby.  Sure, Ibanez is definitely a downgrade, but I keep on winning, I'm tied for 1st in the AL West, but three spots just because of that trade?  It looks like I need to look at my pitching.
