I would think that with a healthy team, the Royals move up at least 2 spots. Ted Lilly, Andy Pettite, J.A. Happ, and Aaron Cook lead my rotation and Juan Rivera, Howie Kendrick, David Dejesus, the resurgence of Jose Guillen, and the soon return of Alex Gordon are a nice line-up with a power hitting C in Buck. The main problem with this team now are injuries and depth. I could see them jumping up a few spots in the coming weeks as guys return.

Matchup of the week is A's vs. Angels... loser starts out in an 0-2 hole.  Yanks-Rays and Phillies-Red Sox are good matches as well.

3) :MIL: - (1-0) - Pitching staff isn't as bad as I thought.

Staff is looking good today... hoping Lee comes back healthy and we should be ready to roll

Rough start, but the A's didn't get ahead of me!

Hopefully this week we will.  Adding Dunn to the mix is helpful as well  :toth:

I wonder which Lee we'll get?  Cy Young material?  I'll take the under on that one.

Here ya go Chad...
Grades: [Batting, Pitching, Fielding]

Week 3 Power Rankings
1) :NYY: - (2-0) [A/A/A] - I'm sorry Yankees for calling the Angels O-unit #1, you still have the #1 offense (thanks to Wells and Reyes in the mix now)
2) :MIL: - (2-0) [A/A-/A] - Brew Crew just smacked the O's. (1)
3) :PHI: - (1-1) [A/A/B+] - Rollins going down really hurts this team. (-1)
4) :OAK: - (1-1) [A/A/B] - Move for Dunn hurts defense and pitching a bit but the power slugger may be worth it.
5) :BOS: - (1-1) [A/B/B](2)
6) :LAA: - (0-2) [A/C/B] - Not sure how team will afford V-Mart, Butler, and Werth in 2011.
7) :COL: - (0-2) [A/C+/B] - The production isn't there in two weeks… why?  Well, Tulo and Upton starting a bit cold, team has stars with no depth, especially for the pitchers. (-2)
8) :LAD: - (2-0) [A-/B/D] - I wish we had real schedules so we can see how the Rockies and Dodgers lined up after multiple matchups.
9) :STL: - (2-0) [B+/B-/B-] - What can't Cantu not do? (2)
10) :CIN: - (2-0) [B+/C/B+] - NL Central race tightens up around the Reds. (-1)
11) :PIT: - (1-1) [A-/C/B+] - Zimmerman is the key for this offense to succeed.  (1)
12) :CLE: - (2-0) [B/C/A] - Indians the clear front-runner to win this division despite Tigers acquisitions and new Twins GM. (-2)
13) :TB: - (0-2) [B-/B-/B+] - Rays tough luck losers with 1185 points in Week 2.
14) :TEX: - (1-1) [B/C/C+] - Like the real Rangers, quality pitching will take this team to the playoffs. (2)
15) :TOR: - (1-1) [B+/D/B](-1)
16) :MIN: - (1-1) [C/C+/A] - The new GM in town should look at the infield first. (1)
17) :SEA: - (1-1) [D/B/B] - Bats are sleepless in Seattle. (-2)
18) :SF: - (2-0) [B-/C/D] -
19) :NYM: - (1-1) [C/B/D] -
20) :ATL: - (2-0) [C/C/C] - Heyward Bound
21) :ARZ: - (1-1) [D/B+/F] -
22) :BAL: - (1-1) [C/D/C] - Orioles actually have some pitching going on right now. (3)
23) :DET: - (1-1) [D/C+/D] - With the right moves, Jeff's Tigers could be charging for the AL Central title this year. (1)
24) :CHW: - (1-1) [C/D/D] - This team is an enigma for me to rank appropriately. (-2)
25) :CHC: - (1-1) [F/B-/C] - Maybe Mike knows what he is doing with that pitching staff? (-2)
26) :KC: - (0-2) [D/C/C] - Freddy's pitching staff is full of ex-allstars and future (Happ) (2)
27) :HOU: - (0-2) [F/D/F] - All is not well with Oswalt, offense is crumbling (-1)
28) :FL: - (0-2) [F/C/D](1)
29) :SD: - (0-2) [F/F/B-] - Peavy, Padres offense looking solid so far (1)
30) :WAS: - (0-2) [F/C/C] - Season is officially over with Zim and Dunn out of the picture. (-3)
