Grades: [Batting, Pitching, Fielding]

Week 8 Power Rankings
1) :NYY: - (6-1) [A/A/A-] - Helton over Aviles is a big-time offensive boost.  I rate the Yankees as #1 across the board for batting, pitching, and fielding.
2) :MIL: - (7-0) [A/A/A] - Points leader by a mile over Yanks/Cards… gap narrows between Yankees.
3) :PHI: - (4-3) [A/A-/B] - Figgins, Atkins, catchers are the only weak spots so far.
4) :OAK: - (5-2) [A-/A/B] -
5) :STL: - (6-1) [A/B/B] -
6) :CIN: - (5-2) [A/C/B+] - Just as the Reds start to cool off, they optimize their lineup by acquiring Martin.
7) :TOR: - (5-2) [A-/B-/B] - Offensive juggernaut with stellar FA acquisitions. (4)
8) :BOS: - (5-2) [A-/B-/B-] - Miggy has been a monster this season (1)
9) :LAA: - (4-3) [A-/C/B-](1)
10) :LAD: - (5-2) [A-/B-/D] - Pitching lacks a bit just like the real Dodgders. (-2)
11) :CLE: - (4-3) [B+/C+/B] - Indians have to face not just the Tigers but the White Sox. (-4)
12) :DET: - (4-3) [B/B-/D] -
13) :TEX: - (5-2) [B/C+/C+] -
14) :CHW: - (4-3) [B/C/C+] - Ethier down but the rest of the squad is hot. (2)
15) :TB: - (2-5) [B/C/C+] - Rays lose a tough one to the Phils.
16) :MIN: - (2-5) [C/C+/B] - Reigning AL Central champs have a shot this year if the new GM puts it together. (2)
17) :COL: - (3-4) [B-/D/B-] - Not much when is comes to pitching anymore. (-3)
18) :ATL: - (5-2) [C/C+/C] - Hudson is a better option than Lowe.  Loss of Doumit isn't that bad. (2)
19) :SF: - (3-4) [C+/C/C](-2)
20) :CHC: - (2-5) [C/C/C] - Swisher helps but now the Cubs are back to the catcher woes. (-1)
21) :SEA: - (3-4) [D/C/C+] - Harden, Sheets are proving to be bad pickups.
22) :NYM: - (3-4) [F/B-/D] - Upset over the White Sox improves morale.
23) :HOU: - (3-4) [D/C/C] - Pitching isn't even there this year but they are playing solid. (2)
24) :PIT: - (1-6) [D/D/C] - No middle infield! (-1)
25) :KC: - (1-6) [D/D/D] - Royals haven't scored much but their opponents have scored the most. (1)
26) :FL: - (1-6) [F/C/C](3)
27) :WAS: - (2-5) [F/D/C] - The call-ups are starting now with Storen.
28) :BAL: - (1-6) [D/D/C] - Orioles scored the least points so far. (-4)
29) :ARZ: - (2-5) [F/B/D] - Snakes beat the Stros by less than one point last week! (-1)
30) :SD: - (1-6) [F/D/C+] - Padres finally score one in the Win column.

You're right, the loss of Doumit isn't too bad and even better when you u consider Jaso's #'s. Hudson has pitched lights out his last 5-6 starts. I officially welcome Heath Bell to what has become a darn good bullpen.

Looks like a typo when you say my fielding is #1 when the grade is lower than the Brewers.  It's alright if you rank them higher than mine... I'll beat them in the World Series anyways.  8-)

My very first win!  Feeding on the bottom teams...I love it!  Great run by the Royals never-the-less.

Angels are down by one with the Rangers and A's.  I expect this race to be tight all year long as I look to bring in more power!

I expect to move up in the coming weeks.  Tough loss against the Dodgers, but team is just about set.  I'll be making some deals to bring in support at C and MI.  Thanks to pitching among all things, I am crushing the Rangers right now!
