Hey guys, how are you all handling the COVID-19 measures being implemented in your community? How are people reacting to them? What are you doing to keep safe and get through this challenging time?

I'm personally working from home and have been since last week. I also travel some for work and have been grounded indefinitely, in fact I told my boss I'm not going anywhere near an airport. Honestly, whether it's an international or domestic gate, it doesn't matter because both are bring travellers who have been locked on a tightly packed plane for a period of time.
I do find it tough to be constantly surrounded by news and updates of the COVID-19 situation here and abroad.
Ordering food and basic necessities online. Kudos to the front line medical personnel and those in food service and pharmacy industries and all those in the delivery business.

Probably my biggest issue is handling zero hockey. Tough.

Ghost town. Few people out and about these days. I think that's what's needed to combat the spread of the virus and ensure we don't have an outbreak that gets out of hand. Safety first has a whole new meaning.

A well-conditioned team wins in the first ten minutes, maybe less. The opponent is destroyed not just on the scoreboard but their will is broken when an opponent comes out hard and fast.

In the UK were still at work, but if have continous cough or high temp to self isolate for 2 weeks at home. Be advised not to go to pubs, restaurants and venues.
Just waiting a week until these are ordered to close (Insurance then covers them). UK about 2 weeks behind Spain and 4 behind Italy on what COVID-19 is doing there.
Goverment plan is to delay peak until late May early June to help minimise problem to the NHS.
All pregnant woman advised to self isolate for 3 months and people over 70 for atleast a month.

I find people are very dismissive of the situation and almost daring the virus to find them. The younger they are, the more daring seems to be the trend which is dangerous. Our company has asked everyone to work remotely and use video conference tools. I've seen empty store shelves for milk, tissue paper, paper towels and toilet paper. I've been ordering groceries online and tipping the delivery people generously for being front line.
Hope every Franchise NHL owner is feeling healthy and well.

People have been acting a little nuts imo. I've seen the grocery store hoarding. Really sad. I've also been ordering my groceries and some meals online. Food delivery has been great with all the different Apps like UberEats, Skip and Foodora. Overall, I think the gov has been slow to take a hardline on the spread but I have to applaud the Trump administration's banning of flights from Europe well ahead of his counterparts globally relative to the advancing spread of the virus in respective regions of the world. To everyone here, stay safe and respect social distancing and stay in for now to help slow down this nasty virus.

I require from my teams, proper levels of anger, belligerence and some good ol' fashion piss 'n' vinegar.

Anyone seen the vid clips of Spring Breaks in Daytona Beach FL? There’s a pandemic due to a communicable illness spreading fast and the university kids are out partying in droves.

I have a feeling lots of businesses are going to shutter!
Talked to a few restaurant owners and the walk in diners have dried up while there aren't enough takeout order to compensate for the lack of eat-in people.
Same for shops. Every non-essential retailer has been asked to close it's doors. How are they expected to pay rent and commercial taxes and POS monthly fees.
All that is bubbling under the surface.
Like they say, it's going to get worse before it gets better.
