Sorry everyone! I just moved and there were issues getting my internet set-up. I should have everything squared away by the end of today.

We may have a new owner for the Rangers, if so, I'm giving them a little time for any last minute extensions.

Just wondering why don't you set a few dates up just to keep everyone up to date on some projections of events. Also I believe if you're giving one owner a chance to do extensions then all should be given that opportunity as well. Just because things were never really shored up to end the year start off deadlines for this offseason with when extensions will close for all, no matter if the GM is active or not. Then when will trading opening up, draft date, and free agency.

For example, just set something up with some finite dates.

Extensions and trading close - end of next week
Draft starts - 2 weeks from today
Free agency starts - 3 weeks from today

I believe like 40 days till season starts and not a huge free agent crop this year so should still be good to go for the start of the season.
