I have been looking to trade Merrifield for a great CI under contract for years. I have plenty of depth at MI. I had a hole at CI and I fill this as Suarez is able to step in immediately. There are also a few contracts that I wanted to trade such as Schleber and Chacin. Tough to give up Keller, but I feel like its worth it for the pieces I am receiving. Thanks Anthony for the trade!

I accept. Keller adds to my young pitching core that I’ve built and merrifield will be on a nice contract for the next few years. Don’t like trading Suarez since he’s so good at 27 but I feel like this is the best move for my team.
