CI Frazier, Todd, $7m (2020)

There are times a player is traded when he is still performing at a reasonably high level.  Todd Frazier is such a player, a power player with all the variables that come with it, and the Giants are hoping that Yulieski Gurriel can be an adequate replacement.  The length of contract is a positive variable for the Giants, along with his previous success as an international player, and with the inclusion of Albert Suarez for pitching depth, the Giants believe it is a trade that will benefit both teams.

Jays accept. We could use some more pop, and as much as I like Yuli, he is old and a big question mark. With Frazier I know exactly what I am getting, not necessarily tons of potential, but enough to make my team better right now.
