Fantasy baseball leagues like our own FGM, sometimes have twists and turns that no one can anticipate. Our response to those twists and turns is often the tell tale sign whether the league is dealing from a source of strength or dealing from a source of impending failure.
FGM, ProFSL's original dynasty baseball league has been able to sustain itself because of our ability to be proactive and meet the needs of the league. During the past week, we've had to deal with a couple of messy situations: the sudden departure of the
GM and the "resurfacing" of a GM whom we thought had left ProFSL.
The challenge for Rick, and me, is how to rectify a given situation in a fair and just manner. In this instance, we asked for some help from one of our newest members, Travis (soonerorlitigator). Travis has agreed to fill the
vacancy so that we could offer Daniel the
, his former team.
I thought it was in everyone's best interest to get a more in depth explanation in this instance because we do not usually allow switching of teams. However, we felt compelled to do all we could to reinstate Daniel as the
GM and because of Travis' compassion and understanding, we believe that these moves are in the best interests of all parties: Daniel, Travis, and the entire league. We hope you agree.
