You would have been given an auto pick, but your MiLB roster is over the limit, so you would not have been given the player you have posted.  If you had stipulated that your picks were to be placed on your MLB roster your auto pick would have been placed there.  However, a post regarding everyone's MiLB and MLB rosters being at their legal limits was made on November 13th and the MiLB roster is 4 over the limit, so in order to return to the draft for Round 4, you will have to post a roster move to make your rosters compliant.

In FGM, picks are not skipped and then made up at a later time.  We have consistently followed this rule in previous drafts and will continue to do so.

Regardless of your assessment that it's "dumb", when the draft started, it was clearly noted that auto picks would be given if your time expired.  There is an expectation that there would be an understanding that no one would be allowed to "make up" picks with this stipulation.  That is why it was pointed out that sending a proxy list was an idea everyone should consider so that auto picks could be avoided.

There is also the issue of teams being over their roster limits.  Everyone is expected to follow all the rules of the league.  We simply can't look the other way when a given GM is not happy with an established rule.
