The Angels confirm.  We hate to lose Fielder, but in a complete rebuild holding onto him doesn't make sense.  We like the addition of Rondon and the 2015 1st as that falls in line with our plan going forward.  This Angels team will have a pitching staff full of thorough breads and be a force to be reckoned with in a couple years.  Zapata could help in the hitting department going forward and the first combined with the Angels 1st overall could net some really good hitters next year to go with Schwarber that we picked up this year.  Thanks for the deal Dave.  Good luck.

Rondon was drafted over 60 days ago.  According to the rules, he's eligible to be traded.

The 60-day no trade ruling is extended to include draftees.

We will rework the draft pick part.  I forgot about that rule, it's pretty unique to this league.

I know that is a legacy rule and one that the RC likes so it might be hard to ever get that changed.
