Just a question about buyouts

I am thinking of buying out Reimer and I currently have 11.4 m in cap space I should be able to as reimer is owed 30 mil in next 3 years and 66.66%  will be 20.1 something to buy him out

So reimer currently has a 10 mil cap hit & I ahve 11.4 mil in spcae. that should cover the buyout for this year? just want to clarify

Yes his buyout would be $20m if paid all this year. I believe you would have the cap space to do this.

So a q if I call up a guy from my minors as a ir replacement that still has 2 years left ie *Chris Pronger, $4.9m (2013-14) when my player returns can I send him down or does he have to stay on my main roster?

Yes if he is an IR replacement he can be sent back down.

So another q maby it's just me but last season weren't we able to change our line ups for the day for later games ie goalies or injurys during morning skate were we are able to adjust for these? If not is there a way we can I know in other leagues they do this.

Nope in this league they are set once first game is played.

There are other leagues that use this feature but we don't and I believe there was discussion of keeping it fair for everyone this way instead of the keeners getting the advantage.

I am thinking end of week 6 to somewhere near the middle of week 8, what is everyone's thoughts. I think end of week 7 would be good (first day of week 8) because every team should have a pretty good idea of their direct by that time.

Just curious how does it make it less fair the players are all on our roster already it just makes it easier for game time decisions

I tried getting this changed a few years ago but it was shot down would love it changed espically on days when games start at 8:30am who is up that early on a weekend
