Mets are willing to make a number of moves. Pretty much all players available. We are willing to take on money in future. Also willing to take on guys that need to be extended.

Drew is being shopped still.  Adding to block...

RP Chamberlain, Joba, $0.5m (P-2011)
RP Frasor, Jason, $1m (2011) - 8 PPG
CI Helton, Todd, $15.5m (2011) - will need offensive piece in return, willing to take long term contract

MI Cabrera, Asdrubal, $0.5m (P-2011)

He's currently the 9th ranked MI which would put him at $9.5M to re-sign, but including the prospect extension discount he can be retained for 9.5 * 0.7 = 6.65 ~ $7.0M.  He's only 25 years old and is having a breakout power season, and at a weak position he is certainly worth that salary.  However I've got a number of expiring contracts and limited cap room available so I'll need to make some tough decisions.

Floating him to see what options are out there.  In any deal, I would need a cap neutral replacement for 2011 with at least 10 PPG.

If you're interested, please send a firm offer rather than a "who do you want?"

As expected, lots of interest in Cabrera in less than a day - I'll try to get through the offers and respond individually, but just want to point out that I will not move him without getting a really nice piece in return.  I won't trade him for multiple decent players, and I won't trade him for a player with less production/potential/position value - ideally I'd get a 2011 replacement and a blue chip young player (if not one in the same).

If I can't find a great deal that also doesn't hurt me for 2011, I'll just hold on to him and find another way to clear room for 2012.

Willing to trade a package of...

Jean Segura - Should be close if not in the top 50 prospects next year at a premium position. Big speed and developing a little bit of power with an average ISO of around .150.

Casey Kelly - Most have him as the Padres top prospect and almost every list has him between 20-40 on their rankings. His ERA has been inflated this year by a high BABIP and Petco will certainly cut that down. Not a huge strikeout pitcher almost 7 per nine at AA, but has low walks and doesnt give up many HR's.

Drew Vettleson - 42nd pick last year going to the Rays, Vettleson has a bat that is projected to be above average and raw power that he is already showing in the rookie league with 4 HR's in 110 AB's with an ISO of .191. He also has decent speed with 11 stolen bases. He has a good eye so K's are down and BB's are up.

All of the prospects are on the younger side, but all have plus potential. There was one scouting report on Vettleson that I read describing him as a Andre Eithier type player. I am looking for a solid player that is in the majors right now. Pm me with any offers or inquiries about anyone else on my team.

the yankees tradedealine block.
we would like to move the following

JJ Hardy, it would take a replacement MI, i dont have to move him if theres someone you cant afford or something that would be ideal
Matt Holliday, i am not taking offers on him it would take a replacement OF and top spec.
Seth Smith, would take a replacement OF once again ideally someone you cant afford.
Jesus Montero, would take a top spec
Eric Hinske, wouldnt take a ton but has nice elligibility at CI/OF.
Mike Cameron, ill give u him and a spec for as little in return as possible.
Tyler Colvin, huge upside but will he ever live up to it?
Brandon Jacobs, killing the ball in low minors great athelete.
Dave Sappelt, hits for average very well.
Luke Scott, once agian ill move him and a spec for a low level guy.
Yorvit Torrealba, isnt a bad guy for when your catcher gets the day off.

I would also move CC and pay some for the right return.
i have a few RPs that can be moved too if u need that.
Alex White also can be moved but would take a top spec or a solid guy this year.

Will move either Lavarnway or Ramos... Looking for SP/MI/OF help... Lavarnway's value is higher at the moment so he will cost more. Would also consider moving Aubrey Huff and Chisenhall in the right deal...

Please PM offers

Rays are open for business...all names are in play, some will be next to impossible but I never say never.  Anyone interested in HanRam needs to look at his July numbers, as that is what he will be sold on, nothing less.  Please, firm offers, I will not respond to "what would it take" inquiries as there is just not enough time in the day.  In other words, make your opening pitch garner attention.

Don't want to be a tease, just want to see what is out there, but any deal involving my "core" will have to floor me.  Looking for the largest package (did I really just type that?) of ML ready (within next 18 months) specs or young MLers I can land.
