It certainly is refreshing to see the flurry of activity going on in FGM. After our discouraging FYPD, where auto picks seemed to govern the day, it's great to see GMs actively seeking to make their teams competitive through a barrage of trades and Free Agent biddling.
We've had some new GMs come into the league, but it's great to see some of the "old guard" awaken and engineer a variety of trades. There seems to be a bit of a revival, a Renaissance of a sorts, and it sure makes things more interesting. The vitality of the league has been questioned during the past few years, but in the last couple of weeks, there seems to be a wave of enthusiasm unlike any we've seen for awhile.
As a league moderator, but more so as a long-time league member, it's great to see what is transpiring! It all points to a more competitive 2016 season--and that would be awesome--although it's going to hard to match the competitive drama of the 2015 World Series between the
and the
