I agree to the trade.  I shed some necessary $6m in cap space while getting a higher draft pick that I wanted.  Galarraga's first two years are similar to those of Zach Duke on the Pirates.  I see this as an essential money ball move for my small market club whereas the Tigers gain reliability (in Maholm) and depth (in both) at the major league level.
