MI Biggio, Cavan, $0.5m (P-2022)

RP Rodriguez, Richard, $0.5m (P-2021)

The Giants certainly don’t like parting with Tommy La Stella, but getting the services of Cavan Biggio will be a positive. Biggio is 7 years younger, and at least for this season, is eligible for three different positions. The MLB Giants have committed to using a platoon system and La Stella may not be in the lineup everyday, whereas Biggio is an everyday player. For those who rely on analytics, Cavan Biggio seems destined to improve his power numbers and is rated in the top 100 in a variety of fantasy rankings. With that, the Giants get a proven RP in Richard Rodriguez, and he should help fill a definite team need. Tanaka will be bought out after the All-Star break and that will offset the 2022 Cash Exchange.

GMs,

The season is fast approaching and I believe we are all set for some well deserved time of fantasy joy--at least, I hope so.

Free agency will continue through the season. We have one open bid at the moment, but I anticipate a few others as the MLB teams finalize their rosters. All of you have done a great job during the off-season. We've had some GM turnover, but I think we have a full league for the upcoming season.

I have finalized and uploaded the Fantrax schedule. We will have 21 weeks of in-season play. We will begin with 5 games for the Opening Week of the season and have another 5 game set during All-Star week. The other 19 week will have 8 games and the entire regular season will be 162 games. We will have a Wild Card week, a week of ALDS/NLDS, a week of ALCS/NLDS, and two weeks for our World Series Championship.

One final note, my wife and I have been fortunate to have two doses of the Pfizer vaccine. We plan on spending some time in Capitola, CA in late April. I may not be able to update rosters during that time as I will probably only have my IPad, however, I will still process all Fantrax transactions and monitor the FGM ProFSL Board.
