Seattle front office is open...
« on: December 30, 2009, 08:21:39 AM »
Hi All,

I am the new GM of the Seattle franchise. Whilst I am going through the process of organising my roster, EDR, contracts, RFA tags etc, feel free to drop me any trade offers or message me general interest in any of my players. You never know, a mutually beneficial trade may change my plans.

No specific unwanted players on the block yet from Seattle. All players plus draft picks on the table - everyone has their price.

Cheers,
Chris

Available from Seattle for the right deal

CI Russell Branyan $1.5m (2009) - by my calculations his resign contract will be $6.5m
CI Mike Sweeney $0.5m (2009)
OF Wladimir Balentin $0.5m (P-2011)
OF Bryan LaHair $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Endy Chavez $2.0m (2009)
P Cesar Jiminez $0.5m (P-2011)
P Justin Thomas $0.5m (P-n/a)
P Jason Vargas $0.5m (2009)
P Jarrod Washburn $9.5m (2009)

Draft picks also available, and any player has their price.

Cheers,
Chris

Pirates are interested in:

CI Mike Sweeney $0.5m (2009)
OF Wladimir Balentin $0.5m (P-2011)
OF Bryan LaHair $0.5m (P-n/a)

Colby,

Revisiting this before the contract deadline. Leaving your headline guys to one side, I have interest in Joe Thatcher and Charlie Morton. Obviously any involvement of Sweeney or Branyan in the trade would mean the trade would have to happen quick so that they could be resigned as Pirates - correct?

Anything that we can get done let me know
Cheers,
Chris

P Shawn Camp $1.0m (2011)
P Fabio Castro $0.5m (2011)

I'm looking to move these pitchers for some low picks.
Also I'm willing to move Bautista who will give you some CI and OF depth for a 3rd rounder or so.

Not necessarily desperate to move these guys but I will consider deals:

OF LaHair, Bryan, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Balentien, Wladimir, $0.5m (P-2011)
P Thomas, Justin, $0.5m (P-n/a)
P Cesar Jiminez $0.5m (2011)
P Brandon Morrow $0.5m (2010)
P Garrett Olson $0.5m (2011)
P Michael Pineda $0.5m (P-n/a)
can move a prospect CI
CI Mario Martinez (P-n/a)
CI Mike Carp (P-n/a)
CI Matt Tuisosopo (P-n/a)

All my draft picks are available as well. Quite prepared to send multiple high picks.

Looking to add a decent CI or OF to the starting lineup. Studs can bring my top prospects into the discussion.

Hit me here, PM me or try me on AIM

Cheers,
Chris

Seattle are looking to trade this weekend...the following are available plus the rest of my roster can be discussed for the right deal. Try me with any deal, some of these guys I will let go cheap to clear roster space, others I will need a little more.

OF LaHair, Bryan, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Balentien, Wladimir, $0.5m (P-2011)
P Cesar Jiminez $0.5m (P-2011)
P Brandon Morrow $0.5m (2010)
P Garrett Olson $0.5m (P-2011)
P Michael Pineda $0.5m (P-n/a)
CI Mario Martinez (P-n/a)
CI Mike Carp (P-n/a)
CI Matt Tuisosopo (P-n/a)

All my draft picks are available as well. Quite prepared to send multiple high picks in any deal.

Looking to add a decent CI or OF to the starting lineup but will make any trade for the right player. I can bring my top prospects into the discussion if necessary.

Hit me here, PM me or try me on AIM (ChinMusicRedSox) or yahoo messenger (c_p_mclachlan)

Cheers,
Chris

  • dbreer23: Agreed. I think the Devers deal in FGM is a good example of that. Devers gives SD some now (and future) pop, giving up substantial pieces to get him (Mayo, Keith, and one other).

  • Jwalkerjr88: @idsjayhawk i understand that. To be clear, i wasnt judging anyone. I just know in NFL Live, you cant just draft 1-7 rds every year and sign a few FAs and be the champion. It wont happen

  • Jwalkerjr88: Carolina has kyren williams right now cause i traded him for a 2nd and a 4th. Id rather have kyren today lol
    Yesterday at 01:54:28 PM
  • Brent: Agreed.  I have Amon Ra St. Brown and Aiyuk because I traded JJ.  I couldn't have acquired a player like ASB where I was picking in the 1st so I down tiered at WR to make a trio of Chase, ASB and Aiyuk instead of JJ, Chase and fill in the blank.
  • ldsjayhawk: That is probably even more true in baseball since your drafts don't payoff for 5 years or so.  And I will admit my conservatism may be the reason I only have one championship here at ProFSL

  • Brent: Yeah, it does help to have a big draft class and available cap.
  • Brent: I'm contemplating doing a complete tear down in NFL Live and rebuild.  Honestly, I probably should have postered for it to be this season.  I still might, but I would legit need to go into the draft with 3-4 top 10 picks/+ many others.
  • Brent: postured
  • Jwalkerjr88: Yea nailing drafts and some key FAs helps too. But if you remember BAB you traded alvin kamara for the rams 1-7 draft picks. So the extra picks helped you nail the 2023 draft the way you did
    Yesterday at 03:13:02 PM
  • Jwalkerjr88: Its the combination of all three that is required is what im saying
    Yesterday at 03:13:31 PM
  • Jwalkerjr88: And brent a tear down with you assets would look interesting. Personally i just think you need break one big asset down into 3 good ones and move carr and go from there. But you have an A1 nfl mind so im sure you will nail whatever it is you decide

  • BayAreaBallers: very good pt yes i did gain lot of capital which propelled me to make more moves from that trade
    Yesterday at 03:34:25 PM
  • Brent: Thank you.  Yes, I agree.  I do need to break one asset down to 3.  I did that with JJ, went from S tier to 2 A tiers.  Now I need to potentially go from an A tier to 3 Bs or something like that.  I've had some inquiries on Carr, but nothing worth moving him.
