Nationals and Marlins trade

[molinator]

:FL: acquire
CI-OF Morse, Mike, $1.5m (2013)

for

:WAS: acquires
C Flowers, Tyler, $0.5m (P-2014)
P Detwiler, Ross, $3.5m (2015)

Miami do this trade to bring a big bat to the team that will play either CI or OF. Its hard to give up Flowers and Detwiler but its the best for both teams. Thanks Chris  :toast:

Nationals accept. This trade gives a young catcher filling a major need. It also provides a good young pitcher, who I like.

Thanks Sam.
