given the recent ruling on rookie contracts P-2012 = 2011-12, seems i've got a bunch of extensions to sign ... sigh!

Zack Smith, $3.5m (2014-2015)

2011-12: C - 119.7pts @ 51st >> value = 3.5m
2010-11: C - 56.25pts @ 138th

2011-12: D - 113.55pts @ 22th >> value = 5.6m

Alex Pietrangelo, $6.8m (2015-2016)

2011-12: D - 140.4pts @ 6th >> value = 6.8

this guy's buyout might've been a typo but my panthers have the 2011-12 cap space to handle his small 0.1 cap value that's spilling over to 2012-13. can we completely buyout his contract all in 2011-12?

hey commish1, i agree + understand... however due to 12-13 extensions already being updated on team pages (which were much higher than 11-12 salaries in some cases), my team salary looks out of whack.

however, i track my own cap space after transactions and this is where i'm at if we factor in extensions and all pending trades sitting (it works both in sequence or if you look at the bottomline after everything's processed out of order :thumbsup:) on the transactions pg:

Total Roster Size - 26/30
Total Payroll: $71.5m
Cap Space 2011-12: $0.7m updated July18/12 per 69.2 cap with 52.2 min.
Cap Space 2012-13: $-1.2m projected

PLUS

BTW, there are some pending transactions that need to be processed sitting in the "Processed on Fantrax" section.

1 more note to clarify,

Sizz, if you factor in my buyouts, that's approx 10m also coming off my team's cap betw 2011-12 and the upcoming 2012-13 seasons. so my :FLO: should be ok for the off-season. LMK if you want to discuss. :toast:

to move this fwd... i've backed all my extensions out (un-did Sizz's processed extensions that combined 2011-12 + new ext.'s for 2012-13)

at the top of the team pg...
i show the 2011-12 total vs the 2012-13 total, the cap levels are within acceptable ranges.
