Nats/Braves trade

[DaveW]

Nats receive:

William Contreras C MIL 5.5(2029)

Braves receive:

Jonah Heim C TEX 4.0(2028)
Zyhir Hope OF LAD prospect
Connelly Early SP BOS P-N/A
David Festa SP MIN P-2027
Alex Freeland CI LAD P-N/A

Nats approve.  We deal from prospect depth to get a top 3 catcher on a reasonable contract.  Hope in particular could someday make me regret this trade but I'm optimistic I can restock the farm system.  Good luck @Ben and thanks for the trade discussions!

Braves ACCEPT

After injuries decimated the last season, we are adding some top farm talent in Hope & Freeland and continuing to add to our pitching depth. Dealing Contreras wasn't easy, but this was a great package offer. Thanks for the talks @DaveW and good luck!
