Future of the site feedback

Please post thoughts here about what needs to stay, what needs to go and Abby wishes you might have about the site moving forward.

I'm looking to build this using nodebb software, which is a departure from the software currently used.  This software provides a cleaner look, a responsive mobile friendly design.  It is highly configurable allowing modifications.  You can see some examples of forums built using the software at https://nodebb.org/.

I would love to stay here but I understand that ProFSL is outdated, with little possibility of being updated.
I also understand that it could be shut down literally at any minute.
Moving the contracts to Fantrax has been a lot of work but I keep being told it will be worth it in the long run. Fantrax can do a lot of things but it still isn't versatile enough to accommodate our league. I've seen it in the brief time that I've been dealing with new (to me) functions. Some things just need to be done manually, at least for now. We need a second site.
To me the bone of contention is the spreadsheet. Every day chores are nothing but doing the SS takes a lot more knowledge. If you let it get away from you, you've got a long, time consuming task. Do away with it and most of your problems are solved.
I wouldn't change a lot from ProFSL including the way it's set up. I'm open to new suggestions but I'm used to what is there and I don't accept change very readily! A better Chat Area would be nice. I don't have a lot of experience in what's available but actually, I like the Fantrax chat
