Get Ready for the Playoffs!!! Just a couple of quick notes as the playoffs start Monday...

One hotly contested battle left
An interesting battle is going on in the NL West right now. LAD is 2 games back of SD for the final playoff spot. Both teams are 4-2 going into this week. If SD wins, it would be the first time in a loooonng time that SD is in and LAD is out.

Playoff spots
Looks like TB & LA will have the byes in the AL with COL & PHI in the NL. Right now the playoff matchups are:
CHW @ KC
MIN @ BAL

SD / LAD @ STL
MIL @ WAS

Good luck all! (Except Lockednloaded of course! jk, lol)

Reminder about the playoff calendar
Just a reminder that the last week of the MLB season is usually an off week where we have the ability to review our rosters and make final adjustments before the offseason. This season because of the scheduling flub, we will not have that week off. All roster decisions will still be due by Oct 9.

Watch your pitching limits
I noticed that pitching limits were not attended to this season, so I have made adjustments and posted them on the main page. Luckily, it didn't hurt anyone's chances to make the playoffs, but it did affect one team significantly. Speaking from experience from last year, watch your limits during the playoffs and don't let it bite you. Pitching violations continue to accumulate, so please beware.
