Trade: Reds and Athletics

[Jmarkey]

Reds and Athletics hook up for a trade that sends pitching help to the Reds and gives the Athletics some specs and picks (Monty thrown in there for cap reasons).

Reds do this to take a risk on some RPs and a shaky SP who might have potential with his new home in Minnesota (maybe?). We had the capital to get this deal done and decided to pull the trigger on it. Great back and forth with Athletics. Best of luck in Oakland.....or Sacramento......or Vegas???

Athletics approve my first ever Armchair trade.  I am confident that Taj Bradley will turn things around, but this deal helps me clear some salary in anticipation of additional trades, adds a utility guy in Saggese, and helps my barren farm system.  Thanks for the trade talks @Jmarkey and I'm glad we got it done!

Upon approval please promote Saggese to my 40-man roster.
