Nationals - Red Sox trade

[DaveW]

Nationals trade:

Jhostynxon Garcia OF BOS prospect
George Klassen SP LAA prospect
Miguel Bleis OF BOS prospect
Ben Lively SP CLE 4.0MM (2025)
Joc Pederson OF TEX 2.0MM (2025)

Red Sox trade:

Gavin Sheets CI/OF SD 5.0MM (2027)
Spencer Strider SP ATL 6.5MM (2028)

Nationals approve.  My starting pitching has been crushed with injuries so I'm cashing in three really good prospects to pick up a past and hopefully future ace in Strider.  Sheets provides a good option at both OF and CI.  Added two expiring contracts to help balance out the near term salaries.  Thanks @TheLongHorn and good luck!

Red Sox confirm, getting two Boston prospects that I?m really high on, and a top angels pitching prospect with how bad their rotation is was too much to pass on. Strider will be missed, but Sheets was always going to be moved.

Thanks @DaveW for the easy trade discussion.
