    January 03, 2025, 05:04:09 PM
  • Jon: Hello everone,  Due to the pending severe weather that is going to impact so much of the United States over the next 36 hours I am going to reschedule the rookie draft to begin on Wednesday.  I am doing this because of the likelihood of loss of power for so many including myself.   I encourage everyone to rank your players so that you do not draft players that should not be drafted.  Should you draft a player that should not have been the draft will continue and you will be able to claim a new player after the draft to replace the one you should not have drafted.  Here is the draft tracker for MLB and only these players can be drafted - [link]  I am also adding 5 spots to the minors to accommodate the draft and then after wards I will remove those spots.  Today and tomorrow you can post in the transactions on Field of Dreams, ProFSL board any drops you wish to make  Thanks Jon

  • Jon: please do not open a second bid if a player is already posted.  Please pay attention to posted players
    February 02, 2025, 02:20:55 PM
  • Brent: Jon, can you clarify if bids are total contract value or per year amount?  I see both with total value contracts bid after per year contracts.  The Pete Alonso thread is good example. The first big is $36M since it says $12M 3 years, but the bids after are $16M and $16.5M which look like total contract value bids.
    February 02, 2025, 02:32:59 PM
  • Jon: no its 12m its not 12m per year.  Please see rules that are posted in transactions
    February 02, 2025, 08:26:07 PM
  • Jon: so if the winnign bid was 12m then you could divide that by either 1 or 2 years for your yearly value
    February 02, 2025, 08:26:58 PM
  • Brent: Okay, good.
    February 02, 2025, 08:43:16 PM
  • Brian: where is bidding happening at

I did not have access to a computer for the beginning of the draft...NO EXCUSES...

Hopefully I will be able to pick Round 3 to end. Fingers crossed.
