It should not go unnoticed that this is the 15th anniversary of FGM and also the ProFSL site as a whole. Many have enjoyed the opportunity to play dynasty league fantasy baseball here at this site and in this league. I value the tradition that has been built and have worked to preserve that here. I want to recognize the time, money and efforts that Colby has put into building this site and the league. If you look back through the annuls of league history, you can see the efforts that he has put into it.
I look forward to the future of Franchise GM. I have some ideas for celebration and building upon this history. I encourage any of who have similar ideas to share them with me or Dan. It is in this spirit, I would like to make two announcements.
1. The Franchise GM Hall of Fame. Last year, I made an effort to compile records for the GMs in the league, past and present. I will continue to update those into the future. As this came together and I was pondering on what to do to recognize Chris P after his passing, I came to the idea of a Hall of Fame. I think it fits nicely with the history of the league. I will open a thread for the nomination of individuals to be considered. Once the thread has been closed, the executive committee will review the nominations and vote. Anyone can nominate. I will post the thread in a few days after reviewing with the committee and discussing possible criteria.
2. The Future of Franchise GM survey. I have created a survey to pick the brains of the collective set of GMs here. I believe the league functions best when we have the input of as many who are here as possible. I have created this survey as a way to assess where the league is and where it should go. The answer may be continue on or there may be desires for change. I am using this as a tool to simply gauge the GMs of the league. It is not required, but if it makes no difference to you, I would ask if you would add your ProFSL ID at the end. This provides the only way I have to ensure the response comes from a league member. I hope I have made you feel comfortable providing feedback without concern for this, but if you do not, you are welcome to provide it anonomously.

https://forms.gle/XnBUrFgACTdmtRS17I wanted to do more this year...and maybe we will, but I have had to curtail my involvement in these activities since I have elected to return to school. Thank you all and I hope you will celebrate this special season with me!
