:DET-NFL: sends:

2025 4th Round Pick (from SF)

2025 5th Round Pick (from DET)

2025 5th Round Pick (from LV)

2025 6th Round Pick (from DET)

2025 7th Round Pick (from DET)

to :CHI: for:

TE Hunter Henry $8M (2025)

RB Jamaal Williams $16M (2027)

Lions make this trade to shore up the TE position, anything Williams can contribute is a bonus, but we don't have any big extensions coming so we can take on his contract fairly easily. Bears to confirm, thanks @jschwab!

Chicago agrees.

We do this trade to clear a lot of cap room heading into free agency and gain a lot of future draft capital.
Nice dealings as always with @TheLongHorn
