Cubs receive:

MI Jonathan India 500k (2024)

A's receive

MI Royce Lewis P-NA
SP Sem Robberse PC

Trading an oft injured elite talent in Royce Lewis for an impact MI bat in Jonathan India who I think has some really good years in front of him. India is in the last year of his prospect contract and Lewis has years and years on his but India adds stability to an organization that desperately needs it at this stage. Robberse is one of the cooler pitching prospects in the minors but Cubs have invested pretty heavy in pitching at the minor league level and can afford to move him for what this organization thinks its getting in Jonathan India.

Pleasure dealing with you @STLBlues91

Oak agrees. We have Swanson coming in so moving India was something we could do. I take the risk with Royce but if he can stay healthy I have another threat on my roster for years to come. I also get a pitching prospect to add to the depth of my roster as I make this roster mine.
