Rockies Roster Audit

[ndog]

Below is what I found when confirming my roster between the league spreadsheet and Fantrax.

There were some spelling differences between the spreadsheet and Fantrax.  I'm not trying to be a spelling nazi listing this, I'm just pointing out the differences for possible search purposes.  I found these by doing a VLookup.  I don't expect them to be corrected but wanted to point it out just for reference.

How do you handle the players not in Fantrax?  Fantrax has a request player function.  Do you want us GMs to request them to Fantrax and let you know or is that handled by the commissioner team?

I tried to add the players showing as free agents but we don't have permissions.   So they are listed below.

On Fantrax but not on Rockies Spreadsheet:
Zach Britton - On Angels roster on spreadsheet
Alberto Mendez - not on spreadsheet
Chris Clarke - On Cubs roster on spreadsheet

On Spreadsheet but not on Rockies Fantrax Roster:
Carter Bins - on Cleveland in Fantrax
Felix Mercedes - shows as free agent
Niuman Romero - shows as free agent
Rafael Oliveras - not in Fantrax
Alberto Mendes - not in Fantrax
Brooks Lee - shows as free agent
Cameron Decker - shows as free agent
Humberto Arteaga - shows as free agent
Joshua Liranzo - not in Fantrax
Kevin Hidalgo - not in Fantrax
German Ramirez - not in Fantrax
Yanki Baptiste - in Fantrax as Yanki Jean-Baptiste
Cam Butler - in Fantrax as Cameron Butler
Garrett Spain - shows as free agent
Jonny Butler - shows as free agent
Willy Fana - in Fantrax as Willy Fanas
Alaska Abney - shows as free agent
Austin Smith - shows as free agent
Carter Baumler - shows on NY Yankess
Christian Flecha - not in Fantrax
D.L. Hall - shows as DL Hall in Fantrax
Daniel Lloyd - shows as free agent
Geo Rivera - shows as Geo Rivera Jr. in Fantrax
Jackson Humphries - shows as free agent
Juan Santos - shows as free agent.  You can drop him from my roster.
Kurtis Kostuk - not in Fantrax
Pat Goetze - not in Fantrax
Reid Johnston - shows as free agent
Sal Mendez - shows as free agent.  You can drop him from my roster.
Seth Wagner - not in Fantrax
Stephen Woods - listed as Stephen Woods Jr. on Fantrax
Travis Adams - on Cincinnati in Fantrax
Tyler Gough - on Arizona in Fantrax
Wyatt Cheney - shows as free agent
Zach Pettway - shows as free agent

I will admit that I haven't looked at all my draft picks or IFA signings.  So if those are both missing on the spreadsheet and Fantrax I haven't caught that yet.  I will do that later when I have more time.

Let me know if you need anything else from me on this.

Thanks!

Spelling is definitely important to pick up on. A lot of the times that's the real issue of what we get double signings or invalid bids, because someone has the names spelled wrong and so they don't come up on a search.

The rest have been spreadsheet/fantraxed

You can request the players if you want to, its odd to have so many not in fantrax. Your Int. was taken care of by Ryan so those should be all set but let us know if someone is missing.
