In NFL LIVE Cap hits always applies even if a player is on IR a team gets no cap savings only earning a roster spot in return for IR status.

No player is IR eligible until 9/1/22 until we have a season mandate

I'm not sure that we haven't been applying those salaries I just wanted to be sure.


PSC Practice Squad contract = $500K (N/A) till 18th game played.
At the "start of" 18th game PSC becomes final year at $500k & can no longer be placed on PS. Player must be extended or be released by the end of that current season. (only regular NFL contracted players lose a contracted year @$500k & would now expire 2022)

Until 9/1/22 teams may exceed both roster & cap limits.

9/1/22 all teams must be roster & cap compliant.

IR status on the SS is already set to count to the cap in the formulas. The only players on the SS rosters that do not count to your teams cap are the ones on the practice squad
