PF Marquese Chriss    $1.7m (2023)
NYK 2022 1st rd pick

to Cleveland Cavaliers for:

SF Dylan Windler       $2.8m 2023 RFA

Cavs accept.  I didn’t want to let Drummond go to waste in the last year of a deal that I’m not planning on resigning.  I am able to get 3 great young talents still on rookie deals and am able to trade windier and a 2nd to move up into the first round.  Thanks Knicks!

I made the trade to get Drummond whom I plan on extending or trading. I have many players on great contacts so I can afford to extend him. I also needed to consolidate a little and Knox and Chriss were no longer in my long term plans.
