Please Read below. As it states June 1st is when draftees can be traded.

That came from a post however the rule book states otherwise.  The rulebook to me is the only thing that matters. What someone said in a post is irrelevant. Bradley and chafin both comply with the 60 day rule.

Even last year, this trade would not have been allowed. Draft Picks and FA signings were the same. I had 2 deals last I couldnt do becuz they were Draft Picks. I was told that rule was in place, because since we cant trade picks, it makes it pointless to allow them to be traded after 60 days. They are new additions and new signings that comply with the June 1st deadline.

So I would have to veto because the trade is in violation of a rule that is at least 2 years old.

The rules were never changed in the rulebook. Shooter is correct in this matter. The RC has discussed in the past changing the trading of recently drafted players. I believe this year we agreed to make it 6/1 ( no power, not searching the site). Since it has been allowed in the past, and the rules have yet to be changed, I am going to have to suggest the TC value this trade based on the merits of the players involved.

In my personal opinion it is pretty dumb to not allow trading draft picks but allow trading guys who were just drafted. I for one am of the mind that entry draft players should fall into the category of off season acquisitions. I will bring this before the RC, in hopes that it will officially be changed.

In the meantime, please repost the trade this this thread gas gotten too long.
Thanks - Dan
